Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd Company | Honors & Awards

In April 2007, Ping An was named Best Company in China in Corporate Governance by The Asset Magazine in its Corporate Governance Rankings 2007 for its strict adherence to the best international corporate governance practices, implementation of strict internal controls and effective checks and balances to ensure best governance.      In April 2007, Ping An was enlisted by the Forbes Global 2000 for its outstanding operating performance and strong earnings growth, ranked the 440th overall, up a significant 97 places from 2006. Ping An ranked the 36th out of the 114 companies listed in the insurance category; the 11th out of the 44 listed in the China-listed company category; and the No.1 out of all of the companies in the non-state-owned enterprise (non-SOE) category.
  
April 2007, Ping An was selected again as one of “The Most Respected Enterprises In China” by Economics Observer newspaper in conjunction with Beijing University Management Research Center. Ping An was the only insurance company that has been honored for six consecutive year from 2001to 2007 to receive this award.

  
In April 2007, Ping An became the first financial institution to be awarded a second class honor in information system security by the China Information Technology Security Certification Centre for its outstanding performance in its Certification Authority system. This is a solid testimony of the high level of security of Ping An’s Internet business applications over its peers.
  
 In April 2007, Ping An was awarded “the Customer Management Awards 2006” by Greater China CRM, after being awarded the “Best CRM Practice Awards”, the “Best Cross-Industry CRM Practice Awards” and the “Best CRM Practice Awards for Greater China” by the same organization between 2003 and 2005.

  
In February 2007, Ping An was named “The Insurance Company with the Greatest Potential in 2006” by Sina.com in its Sina-Aokang Internet Awards 2006 for its nationwide claims, designed hospitals and one-stop-shopping customized service delivered in a featured “3A” model (Anytime, Anywhere, Anyway) via outlets and agent network powered by call centres and the Internet.

  
In December 2006, Ping An won six awards on innovation in the First Innovative Insurance Products Awards. Ping An’s “Smart and Wealthy Life Insurance” (All-Round, A/B, 2004) product was named “The Most Influential Insurance Product” in the product group category and “The Best Wealth Management Product” in the individual product category.
  
In December 2006, Ping An Property & Casualty Company of China, Ltd received the First Class Award in the Financial Innovation Awards organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Government for its automobile insurance product series which allow claims to made for accidents occurred everywhere in the country.
In December 2006, Ping An was awarded the "Most progress in investor relations-non-SOE" by Investor Relations Magazine.
In November 2006, Ping An ranked the Sixth in the Top Twenty Brands in China by the US magazine Business Week, valuing Ping An’s brand at RMB13 billion.

In October 2006, Ping An was awarded “The Best Employer in China Award” in the Third China Human Resources Awards Ceremony.

In September 2006, Ping An was ranked first among Asian insurance companies in the annual ranking for "Asia's Best Managed Companies 2006" by London-based Euromoney Magazine. Ping An was also named number one in China overall and number five in Asia overall.

In August 2006, Ping An was ranked first among "The Most Viable Corporates" for the third time consecutively (2004-2006) by the All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce.

 In March 2006, Ping An was awarded "Best CRM Practice Awards - Greater China" by Greater China CRM.

 In December 2005, Ping An has been ranked first among Asia insurance companies in the annual ranking for "Asia's Best Managed Companies 2005" by London-based Euromoney Magazine. Euromoney also named Ping An number three overall in its ranking of China's top performers in corporate management.

 Ping An was selected as one of the most respected enterprises in the PRC by Economics Observer newspaper in conjunction with Beijing University Management Research Center in 2001, 2002 , 2003 and 2004. It is the only insurance company to receive this award in four consecutive years.

 In 2005, Ping An was the only Chinese insurance company included in the Forbes 2000. It ranked 10th among China Enterprises and 539th among the 2000 global enterprises.

 Ping An was recognized as the best in customer relationship management practice in the PRC insurance sector in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 by the GreaterChina Customer Relationship Management Association .

 Ping An was selected as one of the ten most influential brands in 2004.

 Ping An Insurance was named the favorite brand in the insurance sector by a national consumer poll in 2004.

 Ping An was received the "Most Credible Company Award" by the China Foundation of Consumer Protection in 2003 and 2004 .

 Ping An was awarded the " Best Public Offer Without Listing (POWL) in Japan in 2004 " by FinanceAsia.

 Ping An was selected as one of the winners of the " Best Corporate Citizenship in China in 2004 ." an award jointly organized by the 21 st Century Press Series and China Europe International Business School .

 O n 27 November 2004, Ping An received the " 2004 Most Viable Corporation in China Award" initiated and organized by the All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce with China Business Times, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce Corporate Development and Research Centre as co-organizers. This event was also supported by several academic bodies such as China Europe International Business School and Peking University 's Guanghua School of Management.

 Ping An was recognized as the " Best Investor Relations for an IPO in Asia " and the " Best Investor Relations for an IPO in China " by the Investor Relations Magazine in November 2004.

 Ping An was awarded the " 2004 Best Blood Donation Promotion Award " by the Ministry of Health, the Red Cross Society of China and the People's Liberation Army's Health Department.

 Ping An was selected as the most competitive brand name in the PRC in 2003 by China Market and Media Study, a joint study conducted by Sinomonitor and British Market Research Bureau;

 Ping An was selected as the most innovative PRC enterprise in 2003 by the Twenty-First Century Economics Forum organized by Twenty-First Century Economics Journal, which is one of the leading business and finance journals in the PRC;

 Ping An was recognized as having the best call center in the PRC in 2003 by China Federation of Information Technology Promotion, a national organization recognized by the Ministry of Information Industry of the PRC;

 Ping An was selected as the best e-financial institution in 2003 by the E-finance Forum of the PRC, which was organized by the Customer Relation Management Research Center of China;

 Ping An ranked first in information technology capabilities among PRC insurance companies in the 2003 IPower 500 survey organized by the National Informatization Evaluation Center, a PRC government sponsored organization.
